Burnaby, March 27th, 2024– Anodyne Chemistries is delighted to announce that it has been awarded $250,000 of grant funding from Natural Products Canada through its Commercialization Programs.
“We are thrilled to receive funding from NPC to accelerate the bioelectric manufacturing of CO2 into valuable chemicals,” said Dr. Iain Evans, CEO of Anodyne. “NPC funding helps us bring nature-based solutions to market faster, and deliver sustainable economic development.”
Anodyne is commercializing a novel bio-electric process that harnesses renewable electricity to replace high-temperature, carbon-intensive processes. Key to the success is the company’s patented Anozymes™️, engineered enzymes powered by electricity, that turn CO2 into a range of organic chemicals, including acids and alcohols.
Anodyne extends its gratitude to Natural Products Canada for their confidence in the company’s vision and commitment to delivering a more sustainable future.
