Anodyne Appoints Chemical Industry Leader as Chair of Advisory Board

Burnaby, May 22nd, 2024 – Anodyne, a pioneering carbon utilization company, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Jim Rekoske as the Chair of its Advisory Board. Dr. Rekoske brings a wealth of chemical industry experience and expertise to the helm of the advisory board and is poised to guide Anodyne’s growth in the chemical industry.

In this pivotal role, Dr. Rekoske will lead a diverse group of industry experts, thought leaders, and strategic visionaries, providing invaluable insights and guidance to steer Anodyne through its next phase of growth and development. Their collective expertise will be instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction, fostering innovation, and enhancing its market competitiveness.

Dr. Rekoske is widely recognized for his exceptional leadership. At Ecolab, Dr. Rekoske is senior vice president, Enterprise Technology Platforms & Growth. In this role, he directs R&D strategy and execution for the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention to deliver product alignment and business growth. Prior to Ecolab, he served as the vice president of R&D and chief technology officer for Honeywell UOP, a leading developer and licensor for oil, gas and petrochemical technologies. He managed all basic and applied research for the $3 billion organization including new materials, catalysts, membranes and adsorbents, from development to commercialization. Dr. Rekoske holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware, and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, where he was the Amy and Richard F. Wallman Scholar. His deep understanding of chemical industry trends, technology maturation and market dynamics will be instrumental in ensuring that Anodyne remains at the forefront of global decarbonization efforts innovation.
