Anodyne today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed two new independent directors, Bridie Barrett and John Nicols. Ms. Barrett has had an extensive career in investment banking and currently serves as a Partner at Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm. Mr. Nicols is the former president and CEO of Codexis, where he led the growth and transformation of Codexis into one of the leading synthetic biology companies.
“Bridie and John distinguished themselves during our search with their business expertise spanning commercial strategy, brand and product development, operations, supply chain, and finance. These are skills that will be invaluable to Anodyne, and the Board, as we accelerate the commercial scaling of the business” said Iain Evans, Chief Executive. “Bridie has a proven track record of advising companies through transformative growth, coupled with deep corporate governance, finance, and capital allocation experience. John brings the perspective of a successful, tenured CEO of a public company, and the demonstrated ability to create innovative products and spur international growth. Their strengths will further enhance our Board, support the execution of our strategy and help propel Anodyne toward its future vision.”

With the addition of Ms. Barrett and Mr. Nicols, the Board will have added two new independent members to its five-member board.
